My son received this Lego set as an early Christmas present at a Chirstmas Party, and could not wait to build and play with it. Attractively packaged, this set contains RC Car, and 2 new versions of the little Lego people, one each for Buzz Lightyear (with wings extended) and Sheriff Woody. Coming in at 92 pieces officially with a couple extra just to make sure you wonder if you missed a step somewhere, the instructions were easy enough for my 5-year-old to build everything himself in a little less than half an hour. The car builds up to a decent size, and then a small rocket attaches to Buzz' back so he can grab Woody and fly off to intercept RC Car (like the end in Toy Story 2). My son was really surprised that the car, after being pulled back with a slight pressure on the roof, would then drive off on its own.
This is a sure-fire winner for Lego and Disney. A couple other kids who were at the party also wanted to build/ play with this set, so don't doubt its potential for your home/ Lego collection. With Toy Story 3 coming out in June, this set looks to be a popular new line of Lego sets for several years to come. |

| I went to goodwill and I saw something Lego. I did not think that it would be Toy Story, yet alone have all the pieces. But as I got close my hopes grew thinking it WAS Toy Story. I picked it up and it was! I wanted to make sure it had ALL the pieces so I opened it and saw that NONE of the bags had been opened! Somebody had pretty much bought it, took it home, opened it, closed it, and took it to goodwill. so now I have a $20 set that I got for $10! It is a pretty cool set! The only bad thing is the eyes pop off alot. But, the motor action is great! It flies! It will go even faster if you have a wood floor! |
Boy loves this

My son got this for his 4th birthday and was so excited to build it! He Loves Legos (has all the Pirates and Fire trucks) and also LOVES Toy Story! he is pretty good at building with Legos and only needs some help with instructions but he was able to build this pretty easily with my help... and he's only 4!! (this set is rated for ages 6-12 - I'd say it's fine for ages 4-8).
The best thing about this vehicle is that it has spring-loaded wheels so when you pull back the car on the floor or table, it runs forward by itself! It also comes with a mini figure Buzz and Woody so they can go for a ride ("fast, just like the movie", says my son!)
The parts are very colorful (in the standard Toy Story colors - lime green, purple, blue, white) and there are a lot of small parts, but nothing a preschooler can't handle (not good for the under 3 crowd if they still put things in their mouth though). Once built, it is pretty stable, although the Buzz and rocket tend to fly off if not attached well.
Overall, we rate this set "Really Cool" and at less than $20, a great gift, especially now with all the excitement from the movie. |

| My son loves Toy Story series and when they are recreated with Legos, he was all excited and saved his own money to buy LEGO brand Toy Story Woody and Buzz Rescue 7590 on his own (the price is within his piggy bank range). For a veteran lego brickmaster, he constructed this 95 pieces set fairly quickly and seemed to enjoy every moment. This set features Buzz figure that includes an attachable rocket and Woody who looks like the original and after RC Car was built, it is sturdy enough for him to replay as many times as he wants the ending scene from TOY STORY 1 when Woody and Buzz used the blue & green car to catch up with Andy's moving truck to accomplish their rescue mission-a scene I already forgot but the kids seem to always remember. |
